

Ashley has represented both publicly and privately held companies in merger and acquisition transactions. She has represented issuers and investors in private placements and registered offerings of debt and equity securities, including venture capital transactions. She advises clients regarding formation, structuring and management of business entities including corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. She counsels public and private companies in corporate governance matters, and she has also assisted public companies with securities compliance issues, including reporting obligations.
Ashley has enjoyed providing pro bono legal services for several organizations, including Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, The Next Generation Foundation, and the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, through which she represented clients in administrative hearings before the D.C. Housing Authority and the D.C. Department of Human Services.
