Ms. Watson works on a broad spectrum of matters ranging from land use and zoning, structuring and implementing complex commercial transactions, and commercial litigation matters. Ms. Watson specializes in analyzing newly enacted federal, state and local regulation for the purposes of bringing commercial and investment properties into compliance with applicable development requirements. In addition, Ms. Watson assists clients with single-asset and multi-asset portfolios with financial restructuring issues including: loan modifications, foreclosure, deed-in-lieu-of-foreclosure, dispossessories and property recovery issues.
Ms Watson's prior work experience focused on administrative law and regulatory affairs for a national industry association in Washington, DC. In this position, Ms. Watson drafted various pleadings for litigation and regulatory hearings. She also lobbied members of the United States House of Representatives and Senate and engaged in issue advocacy to the Federal Communications Commission.
