representative experience
- Provides counsel to major retail home improvement company with regard to environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, remediation and liability allocation associated with transactions and development projects throughout the United States.
- Assists developers with complex government-relations issues such as zoning and other permitting matters.
- Assists commercial real estate clients with negotiation and drafting of leases and purchase agreements (including retail, office and industrial leases from both the landlord and tenant's perspective), development agreements, reciprocal easement and operation agreements and easements.
- Assists a regional power-transmission utility with regard to regulatory compliance issues.
- Prior to entering private practice, served for four years as an Associate Regional Counsel for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4, Atlanta.
