

Mr. Bancroft assists clients in planning, structuring, negotiating, and consummating a wide range of acquisition, development, financing and leasing transactions. In such capacity he has worked extensively with developers and retailers in the development, leasing, and disposition of shopping centers, multi-use development projects, and outparcels.
He has represented landlords and tenants ranging from "big-box" retailers and developers to local "small shop" tenants in both retail and industrial lease transactions. Mr. Bancroft has also been responsible for the formation of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and other entities for the purposes of owning, developing, and managing various real estate activities. He has also assisted clients in the acquisition and ownership of distressed assets.

Representation of national shopping center developers in the lease up of numerous lifestyle and power shopping center developments across more than twenty states.
Representation of both national restaurant chains and franchisees in the acquisition, leasing, and ownership of new store locations.
Member of legal team representing a junior anchor retailer in its nationwide expansion from 150 stores to over 350 stores.
Representation of a national manufacturer in lease of new regional headquarters.
Representation of developer in multi-party transaction for acquisition of land for timber production and residential development.
