SUMMARY
Kevin Walsh represents developers, tenants, landlords, lenders and borrowers in a variety of transactions including pre-development and development activities, due diligence retail and office leasing, sales and acquisitions of real property and lending work including representation of commercial lenders in loan closings and loan workouts.
Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Kevin Walsh served as Senior Counsel to MONY Life Insurance Company (“MONY”) in both its New York and Atlanta offices from 1983 to 1998.

- Extensive involvement in complex commercial real estate transactions including assemblages of multiple parcels.
- Handle both fee acquisitions and ground lease transactions on behalf of nationally recognized clients.
- Prepare and negotiate complex development and operating agreements for retail projects.
- Prepare and negotiate retail leases on behalf of developer clients and landlords from small shop leases through anchor and mini-anchor tenants.
- Representation of institutional property owners in connection with office and warehouse leasing.
- Representation of both lender clients and borrower clients in loan transactions and loan workouts.
- Representation of clients in connection with acquisition of troubled loans.
- Draft numerous opinions of counsel on behalf of borrower clients.
- Involved in the sale of over $380 million in mortgages.
- Extensive involvement in all phases of commercial lending for construction and permanent financing from loan application through closing.
