SUMMARY

Mr. Chubb enjoys extensive experience in handling many types of commercial real estate transactions including retail development, restaurants, industrial and offices. Such experience includes the acquisition, disposition and leasing of real property from initial site identification, through due diligence, closing, construction and post-opening matters.

Mr. Chubb possesses a considerable background in matters related to retail condominiums, multi-parcel assemblages, multi-state bulk sale transactions and other complex development transactions. Further, his training and experience as an architect make him ideally suited to assess construction, contractor and architectural matters, especially the evaluation of American Institute of Architects documents.

Closed on the acquisition or lease of over 50 properties for development by Home Depot in 14 different states.
Mr. Chubb began his legal career as an associate in the real estate practice groups at the Columbus, Ohio firms of Swedlow, Butler, Levine, Lewis & Dye and Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Arnoff.
After graduating from Kent State, Mr. Chubb worked for three years as a Project Designer for Habiterra Associates in Jamestown, New York, designing architectural projects, including new construction, reconstruction, and additions to schools, offices and residential properties.
