Mr. Badeaux’s career has ranged through almost every kind of litigation practice, providing solutions and successful results at trial, motions practice, and alternative dispute resolution for large and small companies in State and Federal Court. Mr. Badeaux’s practice has historically turned on cases ranging from standard commercial disputes to “bet the company” litigation. His experience includes complex commercial litigation, RICO, intellectual property, commercial tort, products liability, construction disputes, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith, breach of contract, toxic tort, fair business practice claims, catastrophic injuries, professional liability, trade secret, and appellate and post-judgment practice.

Professional Biography

Professional Experience
Mr. Badeaux began his practice at Sutton & Associates, P. C., a general litigation firm in South Georgia in 2002. He subsequently practiced at Butler Pappas Weihmuller Katz Craig, LLP, in Tampa, Florida from 2003 through 2005, and before coming to Hartman, Simons, Spielman & Wood in 2007, worked in the Atlanta office of Buckley King, LPA, specializing in an assortment of litigation broad both in scope and type.

Publications and Presentations
Mr. Badeaux is the author of It Has Become Cumbersome: A Review of Smith v. State, published in the Winter 2000 Tax Lawyer’s State and Local Tax Lawyer Edition.

Membership
Mr. Badeaux is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and is licensed to practice before all trial courts, the Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. He is also a member of The Florida Bar, and is licensed to practice before all Florida courts. Mr. Badeaux is also privileged to be a member of the Bar for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
