Mr. Lovell practices in all areas of commercial real estate law, handling real estate development, commercial leasing and real estate finance transactions.
Education
Mr. Lovell received his B. A. in Economics and European History from Vanderbilt University in 2001. He received his J. D. from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2007, where he graduated cum laude and was the Business Editor of the Ohio State Law Journal. He also obtained his M.B.A. from the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in 2007.

Mr. Lovell began the practice of law in 2007.
Illustrative Background
Mr. Lovell works primarily with "big box" retailers and shopping center developers, negotiating documents for complex real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including purchase and sale agreements, reciprocal easement agreements and development agreements.
Mr. Lovell also works with several national and regional tenants and landlords in retail lease transactions negotiating retail leases from both the landlord and tenant perspective.
In addition, Mr. Lovell negotiates construction contracts in connection with all types of commercial property on behalf of contractors and owners.

Mr. Lovell is the author of the Note: The Kelo Blowback: How the Newly-Enacted Eminent Domain Statutes and Past Blight Statutes Are a Maginot Line-Defense Mechanism for All Non-Affluent and Minority Property Owners, 68 Ohio St. L. J. 609 (2007).
