Practice Area
Mr. Pardue leads the firm’s litigation team and has a broad litigation practice that has encompassed nearly every complex business litigation problem. His career has included successful results in state and federal courts in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, New Jersey and others. Mr. Pardue has represented large and small companies in disputes involving RICO, trade secret, copyright, trademark, breach of fiduciary duty and other contract and business tort claims. His career includes two successful dismissals of class actions brought by the notorious Milberg Weiss law firm. Mr. Pardue was selected to Georgia Trend Magazine's Georgia's Legal Elite: 2006 for the business litigation category and Mr. Pardue was also selected as a Georgia Superlawyer for 2008 in the category of Business Litigation and Real Estate Litigation. Mr. Pardue is also heavily involved in the community and sits on the Board of Directors of the American Liver Foundation, Georgia Chapter.

Various Successes
- Represented Nortel Inc. as plaintiff in a fraud and federal RICO and copyright action, obtained ex parte order for expedited discovery which lead to a $5 million consent judgment, then defeated the defendant’s discharge of the debt in bankruptcy. Collection work continues with nearly $4 million successfully collected.
- Represented company after $9 million jury verdict against excess insurance and reinsurance companies. Client left with net loss of $475,000 despite denial of coverage.
- Successfully represented Textron Financial Corporation in suit over a $21 million portfolio of equipment leases.
- Defended Top 20 REIT in lawsuit brought by tenant and obtained dismissal and $2.5 million judgment on counterclaims.
- Successfully represented defendant in a nationwide securities class action brought under the Williams Act by notorious plaintiff's securities firm. Walker v. Shield Acquisition Corp., 145 F.Supp.2d 1360 (N.D. Ga. 2001).
- Defended Dress Barn in suit brought by Landlord. Removed case to federal court, counterclaimed and obtained default judgment against plaintiff upheld by 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Obtained award of attorneys' fees and placed a lien on shopping center property resulting in full collection.
- Successfully represented Landlord in suit against national retailer over exclusivity clause. Cascade Crossing II, LLC v. RadioShack Corporation f/k/a Tandy Corporation, 446 F.Supp.2d 1348 (N.D. Ga. 2006).
- Obtained dismissal of class action brought by notorious plaintiff’s firm. Deerskin Trading Post, Inc. v. United Parcel Service of America, 972 F. Supp. 665 (N.D. Ga. 1997).
Memberships and Activities
Mr. Pardue is a member of the Trial, Intellectual Property, and Appellate Sections of the Georgia State Bar. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia Courts in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia as well as the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Pardue is also a member of the Litigation and Intellectual Property sections of the Georgia Bar and the American Bar Association. Mr. Pardue serves on the Board of Directors of the American Liver Foundation, Georgia Chapter.
