Mr. Pawlak’s practice focuses on corporate law, franchising and intellectual property.
Education
Mr. Pawlak earned his J. D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami, where he was an Articles editor of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he won the school’s Mock Trial Competition. Additionally, Mr. Pawlak served as an intern to The Honorable Donald L. Graham, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Dade county District Attorneys’ office.
Mr. Pawlak earned his Bachelor's of Engineering Degree from Vanderbilt University majoring in Electrical Engineering. He earned his M.B.A. from Hardin-Simons University.

Professional Experience
Mr. Pawlak previously practiced at Troutman Sanders LLP for five years and, prior to that, was a staff attorney at the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Pawlak served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
