Mr. Rivera works extensively with developers and national and regional retailers in retail lease transactions throughout the United States. Mr. Rivera has represented clients in acquisitions, dispositions and the development of retail shopping centers, including the drafting and negotiating of purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, licensing agreements, and reciprocal easement and operations agreements.

Mr. Rivera is the author of the State Homestead Exemptions and Their Effect on Federal Bankruptcy Laws, 39 Real Prop. Prob. & Tr. J. 71 (2004). Mr. Rivera is the co-author of Big Box Leasing in Strip and Power Centers published by the ICSC.
