Ms. Stanley practices in the area of commercial real estate, specializing in commercial real estate acquisition, development, leasing and sales, together with all other facets of retail shopping center development.
Education
Ms. Stanley received her B.A. in English literature with a minor in French literature from Boston University in 1993. Ashley spent the first half of her senior year in Oxford, England, studying Modern British Literature at St. Anne’s College of Oxford University. After college, Ashley received her J.D. with honors from the Boston University School of Law in 1996, where she was Case and Note Editor on the American Journal of Law and Medicine.

Ms. Stanley began her legal career in 1996 as an associate at Donahue & Grolman, a real estate and general practice firm in Boston, Massachusetts.

Ms. Stanley works primarily with "big box" retailers and shopping center developers, focusing on the acquisition, leasing, development and disposition of real property. Ashley has extensive experience in complex retail multi-property leasehold and fee acquisitions out of bankruptcy.

Ms. Stanley is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Conference of Shopping Centers, the State Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State Bar of Georgia, Young Lawyers Division, Commercial Real Estate Section. In addition, Ashley is a member of the 2004 Class of the Buckhead Business Association Leadership Development Program, and is on the Committee for the Atlanta ICSC Next Generation Program.
Interests
Ashley's interests include travel, literature, golf and competitive sports, particularly New England Patriot football and Boston Red Sox baseball. Ashley enjoys volunteering for the American Cancer Society, the American Alzheimer's Society and Save-A-Pet.
